About Dr. Ebrahim

Drawing on a local background in family medicine and herbal medicine degree, MD Shehla Ebrahim merges long-established Western and Eastern approaches to skincare with some of the newest laser skincare technologies on the market.

As a graduate of the University of British Columbia, she has practiced family medicine since 1992. Responding to her patients’ growing demand for cosmetic procedures, she decided to pursue a career in aesthetic medicine. Her greatest areas of interest include laser- and light-based therapies for several dermatological conditions, including rosacea, acne and anti-aging, women’s health, osteoporosis, menopause and weight management.

Dr. Ebrahim has been involved in teaching first-year medical students the art of family medicine as well as clinical research during the past several years.

Dr. Ebrahim's qualifications include:

• Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (FCFP)
• Diploma in Herbal Medicine from Coastal Mountain College of Healing Arts
