Volume loss is one of the most common concerns associated with the natural aging process. This progressive condition can lead to fine lines and wrinkles, as well as sagging skin. Radiesse, a non-surgical cosmetic injectable, is designed to restore volume to the skin, plumping, smoothing, and refining the treated area for a more youthful appearance. Our skilled physicians offer FDA-approved Radiesse alone or in combination with other minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. Comprised of a biocompatible substance called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), Radiesse requires no allergy testing.

What concerns can be treated with Radiesse®?
- Smile lines (nasolabial folds)
- Deep wrinkles
- Generalized volume loss around the nose, mouth, and cheeks
- Skin inelasticity
- Volume loss of the hands
- Facial scars
How long does Radiesse® treatment take?
One of the many benefits of cosmetic injectables is the typically speedy experience. When you arrive for your initial consultation, we will discuss your areas of concern and develop a customized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. Depending on the number of areas you would like to enhance, the procedure may take between 30 minutes and an hour to complete.
Does it hurt?
Your comfort is a top priority, and we strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Radiesse will be administered through ultra-fine needles, and treatment is well tolerated by most patients. We can also utilize cold compresses or a topical anesthetic if requested.
Does Radiesse® require any downtime?
Downtime should be minimal, if you experience any at all. You may notice some tenderness, bruising, and mild swelling at the injection sites, but these effects should fade quickly. Most patients can return to normal activity immediately following the procedure.
When will I see Radiesse® results and how long will they last?
With Radiesse you should see the effects immediately. Additionally, this product can stimulate collagen production in the skin, so you should experience improvement over time as well. Radiesse offers long-lasting results. Most patients enjoy the benefits of the treatment for one to two years, and occasional maintenance injections can extend the effect even longer.
Will I need additional Radiesse®treatments?
Radiesse offers temporary improvement of many common signs of aging. Like most cosmetic injectables, the effects will gradually wear off over time. To maintain the look, regular “touch-up” treatments will be necessary. Our doctors can develop a plan that suits your needs and goals during your initial consultation.
How much does Radiesse® cost?
Non-surgical treatments like Radiesse offer a much more affordable way to address common signs of aging and other concerns than surgery. The price of Radiesse at our practice is $860 per vial. The total cost of your treatment will depend on how much of the formula is needed to achieve your goals. If you add other procedures to your cosmetic program, they will be added to the total price, which we will review with you in detail at your initial consultation. Radiesse can last up to two years for some patients, so this is an excellent investment in your appearance without committing to a permanent outcome.
