Vampire Facial® with PRP
Use your own natural plasma to help turn back the clock! The Vampire Facelift can refresh your appearance for a more youthful look without surgery, synthetic fillers, or extensive downtime. The SELPHYL® System, which employs your own blood to help restore fullness and vitality to the face, isolates the protein-rich platelets in your red blood cells. Our experienced doctor, Dr. Shehla Ebrahim, can use this solution to create a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) matrix, which will then be returned to your skin to help stimulate collagen production for gradual facial and skin rejuvenation.
What Are the Benefits of the Vampire Facelift®?
The Vampire Facelift is designed to enhance your facial youthfulness by using your own vital fluids. Benefits of this minimally-invasive treatment include:
- Reduced appearance of smile lines, crow’s feet, and neck rings
- Skin rejuvenation of the face, neck, and hands
- Long-lasting results up to 18 months
How Does it Work?
A small amount of blood will be drawn and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma from the red blood cells. Dr. Ebrahim will then turn this PRP into a solution called PRFM, or protein-rich fibrin matrix. Once prepared, they will then inject this formula into the areas to be treated, similar to the method used to administer dermal fillers.
You may require one to two treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals, and results should be visible between 6-12 weeks after the procedure is complete.
What Is Recovery Like?
Downtime after receiving the Vampire Facelift is typically brief, and many patients return to normal activities immediately following treatment. Some swelling or redness at the injection sites is normal, and these symptoms should fade within a few hours.
Does it Hurt?
Your comfort is a high priority for us, and we will strive to make your experience as painless as possible. You may feel some discomfort when we draw blood and, again, when we inject the plasma solution into the areas to be treated; however, we will offer cold compresses and other options to enhance your comfort during treatment.
How Much Does a Vampire Facelift®Cost?
Customized treatment doesn’t have to be expensive, and our Vampire Facelift procedure costs just $750 per session. This price includes the drawing of your blood, preparation of the PRP, and injection into the targeted areas. If your program involves a different price for the Vampire Facelift, we will go over the fees and explain the difference at your initial consultation. We generally recommend patients have three treatments to begin, each scheduled a month apart. For more information, please contact us.
